Rihanna reportedly wants Chris Brown, who has been charged with felony assault and making criminal threats following his alleged assault on the Barbadian singer in February, to apologize to her on "The Oprah Winfrey Show". She believes the 19-year-old hunk should appear on Oprah Winfrey's famous show to publicly denounce his behavior, Look magazine reports.

"Oprah suggested Rihanna tell Chris that despite their recent commitment ceremony, she's been having second thoughts about them being back together," the Look insider reveals. "And agreeing to go on Oprah's show and tell the world how sorry he is will help make up her mind."

The insider tells the magazine, "Chris said no at first, but bought himself some time by saying he needed to think about it with his mother Joyce." But Chris is said to be "desperate to win over the American public" and he has realized this could be the perfect way. "Rihanna's trump card may be that Chris is desperate to avoid jail and thinks prosecutors will go easier on him if he expresses public contrition," adds the insider.

AKON SPEAKS ON EMPLOYEE THAT GOT ROBBED BY SUGE KNIGHT..

Just days after his in-house producer was allegedly robbed by men involved with Suge Knight , Akon took time to speak to MTV News on the matter. "I just got in from overseas to do this U.N. and all this news hit me at one time," said Akon. "He's actually a producer I signed recently. Even [Detail], I couldn't get in contact with him to get the full story. I'm trying to find out the story from him before I can put it out on record."
In February, Akon's manager was arrested for knocking out Knight at a party. Akon did not speak on that particular incident, and assured that matters between him and the music mogul have been civil.
"All I know, we always had peaceful conversations," said the singer regarding Suge. "I'm trying to figure out why it's escalating to this extent. We never had no problems. All I can do is the right thing. Everything always works itself out."
During the time of the robbery, Akon was at the U.N. with producer/composer Peter Buffet. The two men manage a website called IsThereSomethingICanDo.com, which promotes awarenss about human trafficking.
"The concept is how people take blood and turn it into gold," said Akon of the site

i took an L not too long ago (punk police took my car..again), so currently im takin 1 step back and preparing to take 5 steps forward!

Chris Brown will be arraigned today at 3:30 PM in downtown LA.

A spokesperson for the D.A. told J.Real he could face a maximum of four years and eight months in prison.
